Here’s another track I quite like as a tone-setter while writing. Ludovico Einaudi is an Italian composer/pianist who has done a lot of film and TV score work, and the narrative spirit shows through in his solo stuff.
“The Earth Prelude” is a piece that I associate with intense, somewhat cathartic character moments, like witnessing a loved one’s death or running after of a bus in the rain. Even in the quieter moments, the pace is fast, giving it a frantic, desperate tone.
Other tracks of note from Einaudi are “Love is a Mystery”, “Eros (Remix)”, and “Nightbook.”
What kind of scene does this track conjure in your mind?
